Return Services
Service for all patrons.
Materials must be returned to the library from which they were checked out.
Return items to the Circulation Desk during library opening hours, or put it into the “Book Drop” at the west side of library during closing hours.
Return items by post delivery and mark “Return books” on the cover.Please send to: No. 1, University Road, Tainan, Taiwan Circulation & Public Services Department National Cheng Kung University Library
Borrowers who fail to return materials within the loan periods shall be charged overdue fines as follows:
General collections (include back issue language magazines and accessories): NT$5 overdue fine/per item/per day.
References and Course reserved books: NT$5 overdue fine/per item/per hour.
Multimedia resources and accessories: NT$30 overdue fine/per item/per day.
Maximum overdue fine is NT$1000 per item.
Important Notes:
Borrowers will be held responsible for loss or damage to any materials in their charge, or will be required to pay the full value of replacement according to Penalties and Discipline of National Cheng Kung University Library Borrowing Regulations.
After returning, please view your records on the library website by yourself. Any questions, please contact Circulation Desk at once.
All library circulation notices are sent via email. Please note that these notices are a courtesy. Failure to receive a notice does not exempt you from fines.
Books must be returned to the library where checked out. Readers have to pay overdue fines caused by returning books back to the wrong library.
