Service Description

Books stored in the B2 Special Binding Materials Area are under Closed Stacks management, but are available for borrowing and the collection location is shown as “Main Library B2 Special Binding Materials Area (Closed Stacks) (Collection Request)” in the Discovery System.
Readers that require access to materials stored in B2 Special Binding Materials Area (Closed Stacks) may fill in the collection request form at each floor’s service desk of the Main Library or apply on the Discovery System (on-campus readers can log-in to make a reservation while off-campus readers must fill in the off-campus reader collection request form).
After receiving the collection request form, the staff will retrieve the materials daily during business days. Within one business day after the retrieval, the staff will notify the requester via email or telephone.
Once the requester receives an email notice, please proceed to collect the item at the Main Library 1F Circulation Desk within the given time period. Otherwise, the item will be reshelved.
Readers borrowing materials from the B2 Special Binding Materials Area(Closed Stacks) will adhere to the relevant regulations outlined in the "National Cheng Kung University Library Rules for Loan Services of Books and Materials"
