Service for
  • NCKU faculty/staff (part-time faculty, exchange students included)/Retiree Library card holders / Faculty/Staff Family Dependant Library card holders / Alumnus Library card holders/Emeritus individuals or organizations/Library card holders/ Volunteer Library card holders.
  • For Part-time students/extension courses students/ One-year library card members/ other off campus members, the services are provided on a NT $50 fee-based and the use duration is 4 hours for each person.

  • Retrieval of Multimedia Materials:
    Regular Semester: 9:30~20:30 (12:00-13:00 rest)
    Summer/Winter Breaks:10:00~17:00
  • Multimedia Viewing Carrels:
    Regular Semester: 9:30~21:00 (12:00-13:00 rest)
    Summer/Winter Breaks:10:00~17:30
User guide
  • Materials of the Media Center collection may be used on-site in the Center only. Unauthorized download and copy are “Forbidden”. If you wish to photocopy the Media Center paper collection, please register at the information desk for borrowing materials and return them within 30 minutes.
  • Borrowing and Returning:
    The materials could be checked out for teaching purpose. Each faculty could borrow up to 3 items for 7 days. There is no renew and no reserve are allowed. The same user could not check out returned items again at the same day. An overdue fine of NT$30 per item per day will be charged for the late return.
  • Course Reserve materials:
    The Course Reserved materials are shelved in designated location. All the reserved items are for the in house use only, but could be checked out for a one-day class use.
  • Exhibit materials:
    Exhibit materials are shelved in designated location during the exhibition period and are for in house use only.
Note
  • It is prohibited to use Media Center’s equipments for the non-Media Center items.
  • It is prohibited to use Media Centers equipment to download or copy items.
  • NCKU faculties, students and staff could reserve a viewing booth and materials within 7 days. The booking must be made one day ahead the using date.
  • The NCKU student associations could borrow materials from Media Center for non-fee based and non-commercial purpose club activities.
  • Any the damage is caused because of the improper use, the liability to pay compensation is required.
