Colletions：A wide range of print editions of Chinese and foreign language newspapers, as well as microfilms and newspaper databases are available for use.
Provide users with the use of special materials from the Library’s Special Collection while ensuring the proper preservation of original materials.
The library's microform collection comprises over 400 thousand microfiche and microfilm. It includes research reports from NASA, AIAA etc.
The Map Collection contains all types of maps, atlases, charts and globes. Included are topographic charts, Taiwan road maps, Taiwan and foreign city maps and oversize reference resources.
The library has an extensive collection of technical reports, mainly two types,Paper-base technical reports and Microform
Past yearbooks, alumni directories, and digital media (e.g., optical discs) of this university are not available for external loan. They are restricted to in-library access only.
Provide searching services for books and periodicals that are indicated as “Item in place” in catalogue status but are not located at the right bookshelves in the Main Library and Medical Branch Library.
Provide users with services for borrowing NCKU Library’s Closed Stacks materials.
Provide users with borrowing services for materials stored in the Main Library B2 Special Binding Materials Area (Closed Stacks).
The library holds approximately 60,000 titles of various reference resources , such as dictionaries、encyclopedias、bibliographies、abstracts & indexes、almanacs、directories, in difference languages mainly Chinese, English and Japanese.
