How to Request Course Reserves?
- Course Reserve Search
- Course Reserve Service will be open for request on May and November each year.
- Faculty instead of College of Medicine submits request to the Medical Library could submit request to the Main Library.
- There are two ways to submit Course Reserve requests:
- Faculty could lend their own materials to the library for the course reserve usage while no holdings in the library.
- Please specify the reserve period for one semester or full academic year. For not specified materials will be reserved one semester only.
How to Use Course Reserves?
- Course Reserve Books
Patrons could check out course reserve books for 5 hours. For others, such as journals, newspapers, technical reports, thesis/dissertations, will still be used in the library.
- Course Reserve Multimedia Materials
Physical DVDs are available at the Service Desk on the first floor. Students can use course reserve DVDs in the library. Faculty may check out 3 course reserve DVDs at a time for 1 day.
Faculty may choose to provide personal copies of multimedia materials to be placed on course reserve, patrons will not be able to check out those items without the instructor’s permission.
- The library will provide the students using records to the instructor at the end of the semester.
