Instructions for use
- The library has an extensive collection of technical reports, mainly two types.
- Paper-base technical reports：
- Includes STAR（Scientific and Technical Aerospace Reports）、ASME Papers 、HRB（Highway Research Board）、TRR（Transportation Research Record）、U.S.G.S. Bulletin（U.S.Geological Survey Bulletin）、U.S.G.S. Water-Supply Paper（U.S. Geological Survey Water-Supply Paper）and National Science Council research reports etc...
- Microform：
- AGARD、AIAA Papers、NASA Collections and National Science Council (NSC) etc...
- Paper-base technical reports can be found at Technical Reports Area on 3F, a self-serve, open-stack collection. Microform technical reports can be found at Microform Area on 3F. Photo ID card is required at the 3F Information Desk before use. Please note that both paper-base and microform technical reports are for library use only.
- Both paper-base and microform technical reports are first arranged by languages. Foreign language technical reports are arranged alphabetically by titles; Chinese technical reports are arranged by stroke numbers of Chinese title characters, then by report. numbers.
- Technical reports published by the TRB (Transportation Research Board) also can be accessed electronically by series title via the library’s E-Rescources Gatway.
- Copy machines are available in the copying rooms located on each floor in the library except B1F. For printing of Microform materials, a microform reader-printer is also available on the 3F Microform Area. Be sure to follow the regulations of the copyright law while making any reproductions.
