Submitting before Feb. 06 →You may complete the graduation procedure before Feb. 13, the deadline for the fall semester of this academic year (2025-2026) for leaving campus (according to the latest notice issued by Registrar Division). 2. Submitting after Feb. 07 →If you do not complete the graduation procedure before Feb. 13, there will be “Registration fee (the spring semester)” issues (contact the Registrar Division 06-2757575#50120 or e-mail: em50120@ncku.edu.tw for more information). 3. Based on our experience, the submission process can be lengthy. Please allocate at least one week, because the system may reject your submission multiple times. (According to our data, it may reject a submission up to 7–8 times, and you will need to restart the submission process after each rejection.) Keep alert on the deadline Feb. 13, for the fall semester of this academic year for leaving campus Related Announcements 1. To spare sufficient time for library to review all the submissions and for graduate students to go through the Graduation Procedures smoothly, we recommended to complete the submission before 06, Feb. 2026. 2. (Personal data protection) For your electronic thesis/dissertation, please redact any personal information that appears in the main text or appendices, such as interviewee names, personal email addresses, phone numbers, residential addresses, ID numbers, birthdates, etc. 3. (Authorization) To enhance the academic impact and international visibility of students and our beloved school (NCKU), it is encouraged to set the E. thesis/dissertation to release immediately. 4. (Patent Application) If your thesis/dissertation will be used as a patent citation document, please submit the application before the degree examination through the degree examination system. Discuss with your advisor to correctly set the embargo date. (NEW!!!) Regulations for Embargo (Delayed Public Access) of Theses/Dissertations: 1. Starting from the 114 academic year (inclusive), applications for delayed public access must be submitted before the degree examination and approved by the examination committee. 2. In accordance with the Ministry of Education and the Academic Affairs Office, graduates must scan the signed and approved embargo application form into a one-page PDF and upload it together with the electronic thesis/dissertation to the university thesis system. As the system is currently being updated, please send the application form to etds@ncku.edu.tw by the end of December 2025. The embargo application form does not need to be included in the electronic full text or the printed thesis. 3. Once an embargo is set for the full text, the bibliographic information will also be embargoed. Please ensure that the bibliographic settings (Chinese/English abstracts, table of contents, keywords, references) match the embargo period. The reason for the embargo must also be consistent with the information provided in the application form.
