How to use
- Location:
Back issues of bound periodicals are compact shelved on B2 floor.The information desk at B2F offers the service listed below
- Periodical back issues information inquiring.
- Compact shelves instructions.
- Back issues of Chinese and foreign language periodicals searching service.
- Collections:
Including Chinese, Japanese, and foreign language periodicals, back issues of bound newspapers, and oversize issues. All materials are non-circulating.
- Shelving:
- Chinese Periodicals are shelved by strokes order of Chinese characters.
- Foreign language Periodicals are shelved by alphabetical order.
- Japanese Periodicals are shelved by the Japanese kana.
- Bound newspaper are shelved by language.
Note for using compact shelves
- There are 438 compact shelves set on B2 floor level of the Library. Users should avoid staying in the aisle for a long time. It is strongly suggested that the periodicals be read somewhere outside the compact shelves.
- While moving the compact shelves, please make sure that no one else standing in between the shelf.
- To prevent from stuck in between the shelf, please press down the orange-color safety sensor bar when shelf moves.
