Login System
Application
- First time users should register before using the system. You will be notified by email within 2 working days for the approval to login the system.
- Please check our online Library Catalog and E-Rescources Gatway first to see that the item is not held or unavailable from the Library.
- Check the MetaCat + intergrated inter-library system or Union List of Serials and NBINET (National Bibliographic Information Network), and select the libraries which held the required item.
- Fill in the request form and send it online. If the required item is not held by any libraries in Taiwan, you may place ILL requests to overseas libraries.
- We will notify you by email when the item has been received, and it will be kept in the library you selected(Main Library or Medical Library)for you to pick up.
Charges
- Domestic Borrowing:
- Fees vary depending on the lending library. Most libraries charge NT$5 per page plus a NT$20 processing fee.
- Photocopies made between the NCKU, NSYSU, CCU, NCHU, NYCU, NCCU and KMU are charged NT$3 per page without processing fee.
- International Borrowing:
- NT$450 per request.
- For Medical Library, requests are sent to the U.S. National Library of Medicine through Docline.
- We will pass on to patrons the full cost of charges for interlibrary loans from overseas that are higher than the standard charges, but we will always check with patrons first before proceeding with the request.
Turnaround Time
- National ILL:1-7 days.
- International ILL:3-15 days, depending on each library’s working schedule.
- Requests sent to the U.S. National Library of Medicine are received mostly within 24 hours on a business day.
