Service

  • Since 2024, our researchers can publish in RSC Hybrid journals under the Publish and Read agreement, providing four annual Article Processing Charge (APC) waivers on a first-come, first-served basis. Once this quota is exhausted, a 15% discount applies. We encourage faculty and researchers to utilize these benefits when submitting to the RSC system.

Eligibility for APC Discounts

  • Affiliation: The corresponding author must be affiliated with National Cheng Kung University.
  • Email: A university email address ending in "@ncku.edu.tw" is required.
  • Article Types: No restrictions apply.
  • Licensing: Upon acceptance, please select the Gold Open Access option.
  • Eligible Journals: Search for NCKU's benefits via the RSC Journal Finder using the "Select Institution" feature.
  • Other APC Waivers: Full Article Processing Charge (APC) waivers are available for select RSC Gold Open Access journals;please refer to the publisher's website for details.
