| content | NCKU supports to promote open access journal. In 2020, The Article Processing Charge(APC) of Cambridge open access journals will be FREE. Please refer to the attached file to see journal list. Checklist: • Article types eligible for OA publishing under the agreement: Research articles, Review articles and Rapid communication • A corresponding author, only at NCKU, who contributes (submits) an OA article is eligible for OA publishing under this agreement. It does not apply to co-authors at other institutions. • OA publishing is only possible in the Gold OA journals, both hybrid and wholly OA journals, and only in those that are included in the institution’s collection.(Please see the below attached file) • OA acceptance will be based on the RightsLink transaction date and not based on article submission or acceptance date. For clarity this means the author must have completed the transaction in RightsLink before 2020/12/31. • Retroactive OA – this is allowed for articles published during the deal. Please note that articles will need to be made OA within the same year that they are published i.e. an article published in March 2019 non-OA will need to be made retroactively OA before the end of 2019. Only the author can request their article to be made OA and this will be done through RightsLink.
