Service for
  • Library Conference Center could hold up to 170 people. For using the Conference Center, 100 people minimum is required.
  • The NCKU departments could reserve Library Conference Center located on B1 floor as venues for academic conferences, symposiums, workshops, and campus activities. The Conference Center is not available for non-NCKU units.
Application

Reservation can be made one week ahead, please fill out the request form (including authorization paper) or inquire by telephone at ext. 65790 for schedule during the office hours to make the reservation.

Open Hours
  • Semester:Monday ~ Friday 8:00 to 17:00, Saturday or Sunday 9:30 to 17:00, not available at night.
  • Summer/Winter Break:Monday ~ Friday 9:00 to 17:00, Saturday 9:30 to 17:00, not available at night.
  • The Library Conference Center is not available on library closed days.
Charge

Qualifications

NCKU departments as organizing institutions and no any registration fee for attendance.
No charge except overtime fee.
NT$1,000 per hour
Registration fee is needed for attendance or NCKU departments as sponsors.
NT$1,500 per hour
NT$2,000 per hour

  • Note:Overtime use of the facilities has to be approved by the Library. Overtime rental is calculated in one-hour units, at NT$ 2,000 per hour. Overtime use for less than one hour will be charged for one hour.

  • Wireless Microphones.
  • Network nodes and wireless network access.
  • Overhead Projector.
  • Projection Screen.
  • VIP room.
  • Two seminar rooms (16 capacity for each room).
Note
  • No eating, drinking in the Conference Center.
  • Users, who have meeting or thesis recourses, please present two copies to the library to increase the library collections.
  • No signs, banners or flyers can be posted before approved by the Center. Flower baskets, garbage or other stuffs are not belonged to the library should be cleaned up.
  • Please comply with copyright law if you bring your own audio/visual materials to the Center.
  • Any damage is caused because of the improper use, the liability to pay compensation is required.
