四、日本高密度倉儲藏書庫案例分析
　　國際基督大學圖書館是日本第一個使用自動倉儲系統設備的圖書館，以下以其為例進行各種分析，詳如表八。

五、香港
　　香港地區為解決圖書館館藏空間不足的問題，聯校大學圖書館館長諮詢委員會(Joint University Librarians’AdvisoryCommittee, JULAC) 從2002年開始討論並找尋適合的解決方案，2007年委員會提出聯合倉儲的提案，後來提案計畫正式命名為聯校大學研究檔案庫 (Joint UniversityResearch Archive, JURA)，共有8個會員館參與，計劃採用自動倉儲系統，預計可容納790萬冊件資料 (2014-2029年期間館藏成長量)，主要用於存放較少使用的非重複研究資料並予以永久保存。此計畫經費已於2009/2010年獲得香港政府的資助，2010年提供最終設計方案且獲政府批准，2010年第一季開始建造施工，預計2013年完工、2 0 1 4 年資料遷入後正式啟用(Yeung, 2009; 宋自珍, 2009)。

六、國內現況
　　反觀國內，目前尚未有完成建置哈佛模式或自動倉儲系統高密度圖書館倉儲的案例，大多是採用密集書架或將罕用書送至閉架書庫存放等方式解決館藏空間不足的問題。民國98年國立臺灣師範大學圖書館、國家圖書館、國立臺灣大學圖書館及國立政治大學圖書館四個圖書館，曾共同向教育部提案合作建置「聯合館藏中心」，擬採用自動倉儲系統典藏資料，容量目標為500萬冊，總造價約台幣17億4千萬元，每年維運經費約1,000萬元，建築基地面積需求約5,599平方公尺(1,694坪)，預計興建於國立臺灣師範大學林口校區(國立臺灣師範大學, 2009)，然而此計畫案所需經費相當龐大，根據99年7月5日聯合報報導，教育部高教司坦言受限於政府財政吃緊，需視民國100年預算後再做決定，並希望各校能先自行規劃替代空間解決藏書問題，顯見國內尚待許多努力空間(李威儀, 2010)。

伍、建置高密度倉儲藏書庫之評估考量
　　根據日本國際基督大學圖書館的使用經驗，該館評估導入自動化書庫系統的效益，不僅能節省空間，且利用原本的空間可容納高達10倍的藏書量；自動化設備上架效率也比一般人力高10倍，可有效節省人力成本。同時，圖書館可更有彈性地管理及調整圖書館藏資料存放政策，透過ASRS 與圖書館WebPAC系統的結合，也提高讀者取得館藏資料的速率。再者，ASRS書庫的保存環境是恆溫恆濕，並設有防火防震裝置，館藏資料保存年限將更長(Nagano, 2005)。

　　高密度倉儲藏書庫雖然可有效解決典藏空間不足的問題，但各圖書館所處地理環境、館舍面積、可負擔的成本皆不同，因此建置高密度倉儲書庫需先有完善的評估。以地狹人稠的日本為例，多數圖書館的高密度倉儲藏書庫都採用自動倉儲系統設備(Kimito, n.d.)，將最小的空間發揮最大功用，儲存最大量的館藏。此外，各類型的高密度倉儲藏書庫所需的建置成本也有差異。

　　日本國際基督大學圖書館曾針對自動倉儲系統、積層式書架及密集書架等高密度藏書庫所需空間及花費成本加以試算，試算結果如表九所示 (Nagano, 2005)。

　　除此之外，存放於高密度倉儲藏書庫的圖書資料不如傳統書庫可供讀者隨意瀏覽，因此建置初期應採漸進式將館藏資料移入高密度倉儲藏書庫。另外，也應評估各主題學科領域圖書資料的使用率及不同學科領域使用者的習慣，以挑選合適的館藏資料移入高密度倉儲藏書庫，達到館藏管理及利用之最佳效益(Nagano, 2005)。

陸、結語
　　因應圖書館日益增加的館藏量，取得長久且足夠的空間，以解決館藏空間不足問題，為許多圖書館亟需改善的重要任務。根據上述各國的案例分析結果，高密度倉儲藏書庫確實可有效解決空間問題，也可提昇館藏資料管理及利用效益，國內已有圖書館規劃聯合建置高密度倉儲藏書庫，目前雖因經費問題提案未能通過，但從國外陸續不斷建置新的高密度倉儲藏書庫現象推測，此乃圖書館之未來發展趨勢，期望在不久的將來，國內也會出現高密度倉儲藏書庫的首例。
